Quicksilva joins e-Skills UK Board

Gayna Hart, managing director of Quicksilva, an independent provider of software and services to the public and private sector, has been appointed to the board of e-skills UK, the employer-led, Sector Skills Council for Business and Information Technology. Quicksilva will help to represent the voice of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) on the Board, contributing to an increased focus on training and skills for SMEs.

The celebrations for the RAF's 90th birthday saw the Queen attend a major flypast at RAF Fairford on 11th July, as well as the presentation of new colours to the service. Spinal Tap at Hursley

Quicksilva has just spent a very successful and productive three weeks in IBM’s innovation centre at Hursley Labs, where Spinal Tap® was put through its paces. IBM, a partner of Quicksilva, were able to provide significally punishing levels of traffic, helping us to prove that our messaging system could reliably handle the high throughput loads, once Release 2 of the Electronic Prescription Service has rolled out.
